We don’t know the worth of many good things in life till we go through shit. And more effectively through lots of it.
Tons of: a long way offs, not enoughs, searching, agonising, longing, painful pulls of far, far, away. The list rolls on.
Yet in one way or another, at various stages, we learn that we no longer have to do it that tough, to experience life’s gold.
One way is from thanking any current shit we’re wearing, through our awareness, which lifts and loosens it. Then you can roll joyfully in and with it. Like a pig in MUD (author's note: I only learnt it's mud not shit that pigs excitedly roll in when researching AFTER writing this LOL. I kept the story cos I liked it, changed that one reference, and then realised the link with the story. I hope this glitch gives you a chuckle too).
Grumble. Be down. Sure! But rise above by turning that downer the other way round. Find your joy, your presence among it. Don't wait for that stink to go. You know.
Then you'll come out as clean as a whistle. Like a finely tuned larynx. So whistle while you work, I say.
Hum your tune. Dance your dance. And know you're alright or will be. The journey makes it. Try not to dis it, yourself or others too much and that wealth will spread. Breathe into your worth along the way by way of being guided by your light such as your joy, your kindness, your values, including aligning your thoughts with them. That way rather than gathering shit you’ll see through it. You’ll ride your shine, your self-worth will then gather and pay dividends.
And in the end you'll have always been your friend.
Imagine, if it all ended today. Your life this time round. Could you say you've been whistling and humming your tune? And with it all, ask yourself do your values (e.g. your loved ones, passions, gifts, contributions, connections, peace, the planet….) know that value you hold of them? Sing out and live out such gold, and that magic might also clear a bit of someone else's shit.
Have a good day. And with each one, live with the end in heart.
Snort.
